25th Anniversary In-Person Gathering
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our in-person gathering this summer, from July 11–13, 2025 on the beautiful campus of Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. Wellesley College was one the original Davis UWC Scholars Program Partner colleges, welcoming the first Davis UWC Scholars back in 2000, and we’re very excited to be gathering there this summer. We have secured a limited number of rooms at a discounted room rate at the Verve Hotel in Natick, MA, which is approximately 12 minutes away from Wellesley’s campus. Rooms with king beds are $179, and rooms with two double beds are $199, not including taxes and fees. To reserve a room at the Verve with this discounted rate, please call reservations at 1-800-Hiltons and ask for the room block at the Verve for the Davis UWC Scholars Program 25th Anniversary, or you can reserve your room online using this link. We will have a shuttle service to take people from the hotel to Wellesley College and back again throughout the weekend. Note that the discounted rate is available Wednesday, July 9 through Monday, July 14, 2025. We expect that these discounted rooms will sell out, and so we recommend you reserve your room as soon as possible!
Wellesley College is conveniently located at 727 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02482 (note—that address will take you to the campus entrance closest to the Office of Admission, whereas the mailing address will take you to a pedestrian-only entrance.). There are several ways that you can get to campus, including a shuttle bus that we’ll be operating, taxi/Lyft/Uber, commuter rail, or driving. Please note that there is limited parking on campus, so if possible, please utilize the shuttle bus or taxi. More information about each mode of transportation can be found below.

Taxi/Uber/Lyft | Rideshares are generally easy to use in the area. Check-in for the weekend will take place at Wellesley’s Campus Center, also known as the Lulu Chow Wang Campus Center or “Lulu” for short. |
Commuter Rail | The Wellesley Square stop of the MBTA Commuter Rail is just a short walk from Wellesley’s campus. You can buy a CharlieCard (reusable cards that can be loaded with cash value or passes to pay bus and subway fares) or use the MBTA mTicket app. For $8, the train will take you to Boston. There you can catch the subway—known as the T—which is $2.40 per ride to stops in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville. |
Car | Visitors can park in the Davis Parking Facility, which is conveniently located near the Campus Center. Please note that parking availability is limited. To the extent possible, please use one of the transportation methods listed above, or carpool when possible. |
To get from Boston Logan Airport (BOS) to the Verve Hotel, the fastest option would be via taxi. That would take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and cost approximately $70-$90. Alternatively, there is a Logan Express Bus, which departs Logan every 30 minutes and arrives at the Natick Mall. You can find more information about the bus, including the schedule, here. Please note that the Logan Express Bus has different routes, so you want to make sure you get on the correct bus. The route destination for the Natick Mall is “Framingham”. The Logan Express Bus costs $9 each way. The Verve Hotel is directly across the street from the Natick Mall, but it is a tricky road to cross, and will take 10-15 minutes to walk from the Natick Mall to the Verve Hotel.
Given that the conference will take place during the summer months, with warm and humid weather expected, we encourage everyone to dress comfortably yet professionally. Most sessions will be held indoors in air-conditioned spaces; however, please be prepared to walk outdoors between buildings, where it will likely be hot and humid.
Recommended Attire:
- Lightweight, breathable fabrics suitable for warm weather
- Dresses, skirts, dress trousers, chinos, blouses, collared shirts, or polo shirts
- Jackets and ties are not required but may be worn if preferred
- Comfortable shoes appropriate for walking around campus
